A horrific story described through the perspective of a 5- year old. Riveting tale made palatable with a child narrating his experiences growing up in confinement. The heroic ability of the mother to persevere and raise her son is admirable. The disturbing tale provides insight to the effects of living in isolation and the struggles of intregating back in to society.
