My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I must admit that I had my doubts initially how Louisa Clark's character would spark any interest beyond her bland introduction. The author successfully ignites a spark for this lack luster 26-year old still living at home with her parents. The story becomes interesting when she unexpectedly loses her job and takes on the care of a sarcastic wheel chair bound man. Their unlikely connection flourishes into one filled with many emotional situations regarding controversial perceptions on the quality of life. Once I became invested in the the story I couldn't put it down!
