If you enjoy books with a clearly defined plot with beginning, middle and end then this is not the book for you. This novel is more like story within a story. A deeply imaginative book which carries on in circles making you wonder if the spiral has an endpoint. As each story begins relatively the same the course of events but follow a different path or do they? A sense of déjà vu lingers from protagonist to reader. It is not surprising that I find myself going in circles attempting to comment on such an unusual novel.
