2010

This is a captivating historical novel which addresses issues prevalent during the 1700's. Lavinia is a young Irish girl who was brought to The Kitchen House where she was raised and trained as a servant after her parents had died. She learns about loyalty, honesty and integrity as she is reared by the plantation slaves.
