This story addresses friendships and secrets that stand the test of time. The lineage and rumors of the past aren't necessarily reliable sources of the truth. People are drawn together and grown apart by the very nature of this unreliable information. Sadly, it takes several twists and unlikely new friendships to uncover enough of the truth to settle the curiosity. Some secrets are better left dead and buried.
