This is a delightful romantic comedy with all the usual attraction and struggle of two people who go from enemies to friends. The coincidences which bring the two together are ultimately too strong to ignore.
Nora Stephens is the obsessive literary agent in New York who is recently dumped by her latest boyfriend, Grant. Charlie Lastra is a snobbish, unimpressed editor when Nora meets with him regarding the newest book by her best client Dusty Fielding. Little does Nora realize but a few years later she will find herself in Sunshine Falls the setting of that book.
Libby is her younger sister who is pregnant and the mother of 2 children. She is desperately seeking time away and plans a trip to Sunshine Falls, NC for the month of August with her sister Nora. The trip proves therapeutic for both sisters especially when Nora discovers that Charlie Lastra is also visiting. The two discover that they have more in common than they thought.
A great beach read!
