Something about the story didn’t sit right with me. As much as I enjoyed the twists and turns and unexpected plots changes, something felt “off” and I can’t put my finger on it. Perhaps, it seemed almost too unbelievable or believable in some parts and not in other parts. Maybe too many subplots which were intertwined which weren’t revealed until near the very end. That would normally pique my interest but it didn’t in this story. I have enjoyed several of this author’s other books but this one isn’t a favorite.

My review of this complimentary arc is my unbiased opinion.
