What can I say that hasn't already been stated in the many posted reviews of this book?!

This is a story in which I had a love-hate relationship with the characters, primarily Tony the unreliable narrator. What's annoying is the fact that Tony admits he is not a reliable source as his memories of the past have been clouded by his own ego. It would be easier to sympathize with Tony if he wasn't so wrapped up in worrying about his past relationships. Although, I suppose being named in an ex-girlfriend's mother's will is enough to stir up anyone's past recollections. The story conjures many emotions and thoughts as Tony remembers his version of the past. So many questions are raised as the ending takes the reader on a roller coaster ride than doesn't seem to end....I "sensed" an ending was imminent but not the one I expected.

This is a definite book group read that will surely rouse a lot of conversation. Unreliable narrators tend to be unlikable characters in my opinion, making them the subject of criticism.
