3rd time reading, Diana’s story rather confusing, she isn’t aware of all the details and makes many mistakes, puts Jim in danger of being made by the criminals in the under world.
It’s hard for me to accurately rate this book. I loved the first book and felt invested in the characters. The author is a talented writer but this book focused mostly on Lady Diana and really confused me. I do not normally re-read books 2 times, let alone 3 times with the overwhelming stack of TBR I have. But, I had to make an exception since I am forging through with the series and wanted to ensure I was understanding the story. Anyhow, I’m onto book 3 and the soon to be released book 4. This is a series worth pursuing. There are several characters and the story from Diana’s perspective didn’t seem to carry the same excitement as told by Jim.
