I was following the rather complex cast of characters each with potential for a dynamic story. As the story started to wind down I was extremely disappointed with how it ended. It described these flawed characters and their oddly interwoven lives which I expected to culminate in an “event” of some sort. Sadly, the story and characters were pacified into a “they lived happily ever after” ending. I wish there was more substance or conflict at the heart of the story. There were several luke warm plots that never reached its full potential in my opinion.
